All of the trades that happen at Fantasy Sports Trader are real money trades, so in order to get started, you need to have some real money in your account.
Just follow the links to open a New Account and then you can deposit money using our secure PayPal site. We do require a $10 minimum deposit.

Before the season, we sell shares of the top players at each position during our Initial Public Offerings (IPO).
We put out a series of IPOs during the preseason, where we sell a limited number of shares of players ranked at the top of their position. With each new IPO, prices fluctuate based on preseason info (injuries, training camp battles, etc).
About a week before the season starts, we have our final and largest preseason IPO.
- Review our IPO player lists and prices (notice the IPO dates)
- Do your own player research and comparisons, just like you would to prepare for a fantasy sports draft
- Identify how many players you are interested in, and how many shares you want to buy
- When the IPO opens, a "buy" button will appear next to each players name on the IPO screen (click it and follow directions to place an order)

You can buy and sell shares all throughout the year on the open market where supply and demand determine the price. You can try to squeeze that extra
little bit out of a sale, or just price your stocks to move quickly. And you can always search the market for some bargain buys during the season
- Review your Portfoilio regularly to see how your stocks are doing
- Create a watch list for stocks you don't currently own, but want to keep an eye on
- Create stock alerts on players to be notified when a player becomes available at a price you want (buy or sell)
- Review the Current Markets page to see where players are ranked, and what their current market value is
- Submit orders to buy and sell stock on the market, at the price you want (all stock orders are limit orders)
- Buy emerging stars during the year in our inseason IPOs

At the end of the year, we convert those shares to cash prizes based on position ranking
So if you think that your stock is undervalued on the open market, just hold onto it until prize payout day.
- All stock owned will be automatically converted to cash prizes and added to your account. You don't need to do anything
- You can re-invest your funds into another open market, wait until next season and start over, or withdraw your funds… whatever you prefer
- Keep in mind, you can withdraw available cash from your account at any time.. before, during, or after the season ends (subject to a $10 minimum withdraw).
